Guitar arrangement and sampling by Owel (taken from the song “Klepto”)
Additional vocal samples by Femail1257
Electronic soundscape and manipulation by Cocolulu
“Blinding light” is a straight forward pop song mixing elements of IDM, indie pop and new wave. Think Aphex Twin and Acid House Kings in a blender. Ambitious? Confusing? Sweet? Definitely!

hello friends!
i would like to invite everybody to take a quick listen to my new song called “report writer”. a song about longing, getting hungry and boring friday nights spent at home. free download as usual.
enjoy!

here’s what others think of the song:
“Cocolulu’s new track “Report Writer” is a refreshing take on electronica music.
With a plethora of instrumental electronica tracks out there, it is really refreshing
to hear a vocal track that one can easily connect to. Its a good well thought of
track that is really a good song going above sonic technical orgies we get
accustomed to. This says a lot about Cocolulu’s creative and artistic direction.
What is most striking is the beats heard on the first few bars resembling that of
live scratching, seeminglysyncopated off time but manages to stay suprsingly 4/4ths.
Monotonic vocals reminds me of new wave hints. Cocolulu’s delivery gives his lyrics
sincere justice.
Not quite pop but definitely ear friendly. No classifications here, which is best left
to the listener to make this track his own. A good download fit for everyone’s
player. Thumbs up for this one!” – Ixiz Music

“lovely vocal recording !
I Like the melody. Very New Order. Also like the falsetto 2nd voice in the “reaching out for you” chorus, and of course the stuttered breakbeat loop” – acid 42/QED records
